a good evolution?

While learning new skills, we are losing others. Does this create product opportunities to support and develop the passing skills? E.g mind-mapping software can help focus you on contemplation and thinking.

It’s hard to visualize things that don’t exist."

react to my touch

Design considerations for touch UI

  • Design for immediate access – tapping is quick, and think about finger travel distances and screen proximity of touch points
  • Keep gestures smart and simple – respond as the user would expect in the real world, keep more complex gestures for optional or shortcut commands
  • Leverage clear mental models – keep actions and reaction consistent with the expectation
  • Design for real hand sizes – both size and position on screen
  • Touch feedback is key – a finger covers the button when pressed, make a response happen off button. Users are often distracted, and audio is unreliable communicator.

168 – is a big number

168

168 is a pretty big number, when you think of it in terms of hours available each and every week. Even when you take out the things that you must do, it will leave a good number of hours to spend on the important things.

People who achieve the things that they want in life, tend to be very focused on achieving those things. They prioritize their goals, and use the substantial amount of time each week to focus on their particular goals.

It is very easy to spend time on things that aren’t important, if you don’t know what is important to you, time will disappear on distracting and (potentially) vaguely enjoyable although not important things.
